what’s involved upcoming courses

There are 3 levels of coaching qualification and it is intended that once teachers start introducing Fives to their schools, that these should act to provide more support, ideas and information for developing pupil play and lessons.

The courses are aimed at:
Level 1 – Teachers who are completely new to the sport and want to find out more about the sport, basic coaching ideas and how to introduce Fives to their schools.

Level 2 – Teachers who have introduced Fives to some of their classes, and want to develop more interesting lessons, learn about different shots and help their pupils think about the strategy of the sport.

Level 3 – Teachers who have been running Fives for at least one academic year, and now want to learn about advanced shots, complex strategy to help prepare their pupils for competitions.

Courses all last 90 minutes and will be held at regular intervals in schools normally as twilight sessions.

Teachers who attend a coaching session earn a free master-class from a professional CFA coach.

Should you have 10 staff who are interest in gaining their Level 1 Coaching Qualification, then individual school sessions can be arranged.

Coaching courses will be held several times a term in each borough that we work with and are open to any member of school staff.

If you would like to attend a course then please contact James Toop .
