The CFA ran its first coaching session for teachers at Selsdon High School today. The sessions are designed to allow staff to learn how to play and coach the game, as well as discover more about the association and its aims.
All teachers receive a CFA Level 1 Coaching Qualification, as well as lesson plans and coaching ideas. Most importantly, teachers get an opportunity to try Fives for themselves.
Twenty staff from seven schools (4 primary and 3 secondary) attended the 90 minute session, and all their schools will now receive a free one-day masterclass from a CFA professional coach this summer term.
More coaching sessions are planned for early in the summer term. Details will appear on the website.
