The CFA has formed a partnership with the Westway Sports Centre to promote 1-wall Fives in Kensington and Chelsea.  

 

The partnership starts at the beginning of this summer term, when primary and secondary schools in the borough will be offered free coaching sessions from Westway staff.  The CFA will also run Level 1 Coaching Qualification sessions throughout the term, and the launch will culminate with an end-of-term festival at the sports centre.

 

The launch is funded by HSBC and it is hoped that as well as promoting 1-wall Fives that pupils can play in their schools, the programme will also encourage pupils and schools to use the Eton (3-wall) Fives facilities at the Westway Sports Centre.

 

Uniquely though, it will be one sport that Westway can coach on site at all the schools and will eliminate traveling time during PE lessons.
